About Daxton Johnson

Daxton Johnson is the Youth Pastor of Redemption Hill Church in Eagle Mountain, Utah, and an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor at Living Waters Counseling LLC in Murray, Utah. He holds a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Grand Canyon University and a bachelor’s in biblical studies.

Since graduating high school in 2011, he has been heavily involved in church ministry as a youth leader, youth pastor, and associate pastor who helped plant the Redemption Hill Church in Eagle Mountain, Utah, in 2017. God has continued to grow and thrive in the church to bless and reach the Utah County region, fund global mission trips, and partner with budding church communities across countries.

Daxton is the author of A Fresh Dose of Hope: A Husband’s Journey Through Infertility and The Bible. This debut book unfolded over a decade, during which he and his wife suffered nine years of infertility and experienced God’s sovereignty in their lives and the lives of others affected by infertility. It is the goal and desire of his debut book to be a source of blessing and hope to the millions of couples who have or are currently suffering due to infertility, as well as the friends and families of those who struggle with this issue.

As a child and into his adult life, Daxton dreamed of becoming an author and writing books on Christian living and theological topics. He also wants to write sci-fi and fantasy novels under a pen name one day.

Currently, he lives in Utah County, Utah, with his wife, their soon-to-be firstborn son, and his stubborn Shiba Inu pup. He reads and writes from their cozy living room and the occasional local coffee shop.
